THREE SIMPLE STAGES

STAGE ONE: THE DESIGN CONCEPT

Melinda meets with the clients at the home to discuss their design goals for each room in the project.  She calls this a client-style meeting. It is here that she asks very detailed questions as she begins to absorb the clients desire for how they envision each space to look and function.  This in-depth discussion allows Melinda to build a solid plan to move the project forward. Her team then builds a thorough and collaborative file of images, plans, and selections for the project.

Melinda establishes a collaborative relationship with the architect and contractor as the team takes shape.

When the design concept is built, Melinda offers a pre-proposal meeting and shares the full direction of each space.  Clients can expect a comprehensive furniture, fixture and equipment package, a virtual 3-D panorama rendering and a cloud based link to their personal financial account for the project. As well, clients are presented with tactile samples . Once any requested revisions are made, the client is offered the completed final proposal for approval. Once the design is approved, we move to Stage Two.

STAGE TWO: PROCUREMENT & LABOR

When the design concept has been approved, Melinda’s team orders and diligently tracks each element of the design as it moves toward installation.  Clients can expect a two-week status report outlining the progress of the project. During this stage, Melinda works closely alongside the build team to ensure the design concept becomes a reality.

Once all the product has been inspected and received, Melinda’s team begins to organize the installation, moving the project to the final stage.

STAGE THREE: THE INSTALLATION

The excitement begins to build as Melinda and her team carefully oversee the installation of all the items in the design. Each piece is placed with great attention, so the final moment of the reveal becomes a memory of a lifetime.

Her turn-key approach is her final punctuation of the design.  She believes strongly that good design is a space you can immediately use, so beds are made, towels are hung, hangers are in place, and fresh flowers await for that TA-DA moment.

We had just completed a major home renovation project when we reached out to Melinda to help with the interior design of our main living spaces. She worked closely with us to create a cohesive design vision that fit well with our lifestyle. We could not be more pleased with the results.
