Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Melinda Loftus Headrick I am the owner and principal designer of Chatham Interiors, Inc. I grew up in New England and received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Vermont. Looking back, even as a child, I have always cherished the feeling of a cohesive and beautiful space. I credit my mother and grandmother for teaching me the value of a beautiful home, made up of individual, unique objects that create definition.
In 2007, I became a degreed interior designer. This formal education expanded my eye for design and taught me rules of proportion, scale and balance. My first design position was with the Blackberry Farm Design team. This fabulous experience exposed me not only to beautiful spaces but the importance of excellent customer service and operating a sound business.
The mission of Chatham Interiors, Inc. is simple: Offer clients a well thought out space that describes who they are and how they live. The elements of trust, experience and knowledge are the cornerstones which allow us to execute our mission month after month.
I invite you to follow my blog: ROOTS AND WINGS. I feel space should tell the story of who we are and what new discoveries we have made. ROOTS reflects the experiences and WINGS reflect the vision of the future.
