I was so thrilled that the antique windows in my new home would allow me to celebrate an old New England Tradition of decorating a home with Starfish. This was started so that on a cold winter evening, one could glance their direction and be reminded of a long walk on a summer beach.

Although Starfish have been given the new name of Sea Stars because they are in fact not Fish I can’t seem to make that transition. I have far too many memories of walking with my beloved grandmother on Hardings Beach searching for treasures to take home…always at the top of list was the beloved Starfish.
